Duane Thomas, internationally renowned Running Back for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1970s, is passionately dedicated to painting.
He says that it was through the silence that accentuated his game. Later in life, he reached a crescendo with his visual, spontaneous, spiritual love for art.
Duane’s football career was dramatically enhanced after leading the Dallas Cowboys to their first Super Bowl win. Afterward, Duane was named Rookie of the Year in 1970.
At that time, Duane focused his creative talent, then manifested as the art of the game which led to his triumphant win. Duane Thomas was the face of America’s team achieving Super Bowl history.
Duane currently travels the United States raising funds for community based charitable organizations, paints full time while he is at home.
Duane recently discovered painting as his primary art form. From sportsman to artist, Duane has transformed his life into a new career. His art was recently exhibited at Super Bowl 42 in Glendale, Arizona at Skye’s Restaurant for the third annual pro-football players in art.
